HUMILIATING MUSLIMS. How can non-muslims avoid humiliating thin skin Muslims who always feel humiliated?

Jihadists often cite "humiliation" as a justification for their war and terror.



Muslims who moved to western countries feel humiliated that they don't live under their savage cavelaw (shariah).



Muslims feel humiliated whenever non-muslims win in combat with Muslims, irrespective of who was right or who started it (see Persian Gulf War 1).



Muslims feel humilitated by the fact that the whole world is not yet under Islamic law....



So what can we do? Maybe we should just give in....turn the other ceek and love the enemy like gooood ole Christians....sound good?

Reply:Muslims are not asking for special treatment, it would help if some people stopped potraying it, misleading it, being hateful, and building stereotypical images of muslims.

Reply:Not all Muslims are overly sensitive regarding their culture %26amp; religion, many of them actually respect other cultures %26amp; religions. I have several friends who are Muslims and I get along with them; we're fine.





I guess you're pertaining to those devoted types who believe every word written in the Koran (what I might call as "purists"), specially the Jihadists. I think we can't do anything about them unless they themselves learn how to respect other people's religion %26amp; culture.





All we can do is to avoid making any unflattering comments about them and Islam that they can hear and/or read. Then we can actually live quite harmoniously with them. It would not be a good idea to live in a world ruled by Jihadists types, because they are very strict regarding the laws of Islam. However, I am against any suggestion of going to war with our Muslim brethen. War will not solve differences.

Reply:muslims are only asking that no one deforms their image...calling them terrorists and ignorants while they're religon is completely innocent of any wrongdoings done by its followers in wrong intrepretations.


Most christians aren't following their religons either but we don't call christianity a religon of adultry and hypocrasy......i do quote alot of sayins of the bible....because all religons are calling for peace...most specifically islam....
Reply:I'm a Muslim living in the west and I DONT feel humiliated for anything described above. I dont agree with what the extremists are doing around the world and I dont agree with how women are treated in different cultures. The more i read about Islam for my own understanding the more i realize what a beautiful religion it is and how liberated a woman can feel being muslim. I dont wear a veil or a headscarf coz nowhere in the Quran does it mention that so I dont agree with the crazy muslims who interpret the quran the way they want it to and give us muslims a bad name.





These days Islam is under the spotlight for many different reasons but dont generalize and point fingers at all Muslims. I dont want the whole world to be under Islamic law...I want the extremists and other crazy Muslims to learn the real islam and live your life how u're supposed to.





BTW..same goes for christianity, judaism and all other religions....every religion has its extremists. For example catholic priests molesting little boys..is that in the catholic religion???? I dont think so but are we going to make a generalized statement because of it...Not me.
