My skin is really dry and thin, what are some inexpensive creams or something I can use?

I can't spend a lot of money on creams, but my legs are really dry and you can almost see the veins through them.

Reply:coco butter, you need go to the doctor and get presciption lotion
Reply:use udders cream if you can get hold of it. They'll keep your skin moist and soft. Or try Rosken, very economically priced. Selling in singapore at S$7.60 per 250ml bottle so it should be much cheaper in states.
Reply:Are you sure it is just dryness? One thing that helps is a little humidifyer like you would use when you have a cold. Drink more water. Aloe Vera and patroleum jelly, Aveeno
Reply:Olive oil, aloe vera (grow your own for big savings) and for hands especially in winter try using bag balm. Here's my trick for softening up dry, rough 'winter hands':

- Bag Balm (Walgreens carries it for about $5 a tin)

- A pair of cheap cotton gloves from as garden store.

- Just lather on the bag balm onto the backs of your hands thick around fingers or any dry patches.

- Then put on the gloves overnight. It's like you have a new set of skin the next morning. You can use plastic gloves but I find them too uncomfortable.

The gloves you can buy for $3-5 and you'll only be able to use them for this. Just wash them out in hot soapy water and dry for next time.
