Really....what's a single good reason for blocking a user?

Christians, why would you block a user, is your faith so fragile and your skin so thin?
Well it is my opinion that there are two main reasons.


1) So they can encourage and spread more lies about Atheists


2) They are very close-minded to hear the opinions of Atheists because their faith is very fragile and they have very thin skin.
Reply:Hey, if they can block out whole divisions of scientific progress, one person isn't going to make them lose much sleep.
Reply:someone comes in and reports all of my archived questions because said person has a beef with me.
Reply:I've never done it but you can only read answers that say nothing more than "You are an idiot!" so many times before you get bored with the spam...
Reply:I would report any user if he or she used bad language or appeared to deliberately insult someone else. I don't think that is having a thin skin - I think it is about common decency and regard for each other.

Reply:For the same reason an atheist, a Muslim, a Pagan, a Wiccan, a Buddhist and so on would block someone, or hide their Q%26amp;A's from other users.
Reply:I haven't blocked anyone but if I chose to it would be because they had been verbally abusive to me and I don't have to take that from anyone.

In fact, since I blocked the top contributor in R%26amp;S, I have gotton 1/5 the violation notices

Reply:I am a Christian and I have not blocked any users. Some people, not just Christians, may block people because they do not want to listen to all the lies and insults that people throw at them. People need to be more tolerant of other people's religion, or their lack of religion.
Reply:I asked a fragile faith question not to long ago. Their faith s so fragile that the question really riled them up.
