I squeezed my skin, and it was dry, so a thin top layer of skin came off. Now the area is red. Help?

I was sorta scratching my face, not paying attention. My skin was dry and some skin peeled off. It left a fairly big red mark that looks kinda like a burn. It hurts. Do you think it will scar? Will Neosporin help?

You could use neosporin, but don't mess with the area. That way it will heal with no scarring. Alot of the redness should be gone by morning.
Reply:yes, neosporin will help. keep it in open air and it will heal faster. I dont think it will scar since its just the top layer of skin that would shed away anyway naturally
Reply:For dry skin, use a creamy cleanser to melt away dirt. Leave it on your skin before sweeping it away with cotton wool. Splash cold water onto your face to clean and refresh your skin. Use a thick cream moisturizer to seal in as much moisture as possible and have a refreshing feel.check out http://tipsfromruby-skincare.blogspot.co...
