in india eh? did she have her feet pointing backwards. if she did then she is a pichal paeri. a female monster. its really popular here in the subcontinent.


even if she didnt, your description reminded me of descriptions of sorceresses and witches people used to tell me when i was little. in pakistan they are called churail or daian.

those tales i mentioned were the ones used to scare children from from leaving the home in the evening. you know like if you stay out after sunset the witch will come and eat you kinda tales.

Reply:People see spirits for many reasons and people aren't all that beautiful here on Earth so it come sto reason that after death they'll look the same.


Try not to fear or judge spirits by their visage and try to find their real meaning. I don't think souls travel around the world , so your husband probably saw someone and the friend probably saw a different spirit as India is full of thin women with long hair who probably fit that description.





She probably meant no harm, and could have been a spirit guide, relative from the long distant past, or a spirit passing through.
