Just how thin is the skin of Y!A users in the Elections section?

As thin as an onion if you say anything against Obama .

Just how thin is the skin of Y!A users in the Elections section?
Not thin at all. Just getting pissed off that there are no questions that doesn't have an insult thrown in.
Reply:Pretty thin indeed, just try to ask or answer anything that is contrary to their political stance
Reply:Seems to be a lot of hate. I think its primarily teenage rebellion.
Reply:As thin as Obama's plan.
Reply:As thick as Bush's head.
Reply:Sometimes it is not thin skin it is an inability to use logic and reasoning. Sometimes the Obama supporters come across as having thin skin but it is really a lack of intelligence to use logic so they resort to emotions and this comes across as being thin skinned when it is really just a low IQ issue not a thin skin issue.
Reply:Even with a relatively 'neutral' question such as yours, people just can't resist to throw a 'dig' at whatever political affiliation is not theirs.... so sad and incredibly exhausting!
Reply:Some people get real angry on here, I`m voting for what I believe in, I try not to answer some of the ugly questions.

But you`re right it does get pretty thin.
Reply:Quite thin indeed! All of my violations have come from this section.
Reply:Pretty thin and sometimes really petty!
Reply:"Every election is a sort of advance auction of stolen goods."

When you perceive elections in that light, as do I, then it is not surprising that discussions about elections become a little touchy. If you want elections to be all civil, you don't understand them.
