Weak, easily tearing skin?

I'm 50 year old male and I am suffering from weak, thin skin. When I knock into an object my skin tears easily.

What could this condition be and what can I do to improve ther situation?

Weak, easily tearing skin?
My mother is 64 %26amp; has the same problem. As will I my skin is already thin %26amp; bruises easily. I have worked in numerous nursing homes %26amp; hospitals %26amp; unfortunatly there's not much you can do.Thin skin isn't a problem that can be fixed. You can buy arm %26amp; leg wraps that help protect the skin from tearing (but they don't look to pretty).
Reply:get tests done for hugh's syndrome
Reply:If I am not mistaken, Diabetes can cause those symptoms. best to see a doctor. Or atleast place a phone call to the nurse.
