Poor nutrition usually causes thin skin but if you're eating healthy then you might have some sort of chronic illness that is causing it. I never had thin skin until I turned diabetic. I'm now Type II diabetic and, yes, my arms and legs always seem to have scratches on them.

I'm taking vitamin supplements in the hopes that they help. For example, silica is supposed to be good for skin and hair. If I find something that works, I'll let you know.
Reply:I got a friend who has that problem too every time he goes in the sun it get scratches and his skin turned red and start geting like bumps or i dont know what is it but you have to go to a doctor that is skin problem
Reply:Check with a couple of 100 Dermatologists and you might

get a couple of 100 to a couple 1000 answers. Variouss reasons related to Genetics, sunliight, vitamins, sleep habits,

type of water, etc., etc., etc.!
