I've had my bellyring for almost 5 years now and lately I notice that the skin around it has gotten alot thinner. Should I get it taken out, wait for it to heal and pierce it again?? I've heard stories of bellyrings getting ripped off the skin....
Skin around belly ring getting thin?
Have your piercer take a look at it, it could be rejecting. If it is, I would recommend taking it out and getting repierced. I had to take mine out around the beginning of September because it was pierced too high and too shallow and was at risk for tearing and I'm still waiting to repierce. Get a professional's opinion and also do what you are most comfortable with.
Good luck.
Reply:I'm sure U have a sexy navel, but I think you should let your bellybutton be natural %26amp; take the ring out.
Reply:take it out.
Reply:Same thing happened to me. I took it out had it re-pierced after a year and it's happening again. Best bet is to take it out and not have it re-pierced.
Reply:Your body is rejecting it, it happens a lot easier with barbells than hoop earings. Remove it, let it heal, and get it one again if you want.
Reply:You have some weight gain around the stomach, that will make the skin thin, also if you are pregnant, take it out if pregnant or loose back to the weight when you had it done, the skin will get thicker.
Reply:the skin is starting to age, and becomes more fraile, i would suggest using a hypoallergetic soap to clean and then maybe try using an age defying cream after to tighten up the thin skin!
Reply:This has happened to me TWICE! It's like my body rejected it..even after a long time like yours. I've had mine done three times..and I think I'm done! (the first time it got ripped out ouch! be careful)

Are oranges sweeter with thick skin than thin?
well in my experience it is usually according to season, autumn oranges are the sweetest (also they need to be really orange not orange %26amp; a bit green!)
Are oranges sweeter with thick skin than thin?
i only eat madarin oranges so i could not tell you.
Reply:THICK! Sunkist is best for thick skin...
Reply:they are much sweeter without the skin
Reply:I'm not sure about the skin, but I do know that while you're checking out the oranges, weigh each orange in your hand. You can compare one orange in your left and one in your right--drop the lightest feeling one and go on to compare more. The heavier it is, the more juicier it is.
Reply:actually i found this to be the other way around, not only were they sweeter but juicier too
Reply:yes i think if its thicker it tastes better also easier to peel
Reply:I kind of think thicker..plus, when you peel them, if the skin breaks off into many little pieces, it'll be really sweet...just something I found out..

Under my eyes the skin is thin and vein like, what makeup can I use to cover-up without a streaky line?
Besides makeup any other thoughts for my problem? I have always found it so unatractive.
Under my eyes the skin is thin and vein like, what makeup can I use to cover-up without a streaky line?
i can't think of anything to help you without makeup.
but i can think of something to do with makeup.
if you go to a store and buy the same matching color as the back of your hand concealer, and use a TINY dab of it under your eyes, and just rub it in a little.
it makes a huge difference.
and the best part.
no streaky lines :)
Reply:Use a concealer, with a light powder over it and then your normal foundation ... i have the same problem on my eye lids ... they look really gross when i close my eyes

You might just want to let it grow in and then get it re-pierced.

use make up
Reply:your skin is not thin. Your blood vessels just lie closer to the surface of your skin. Tyr make-up to camoflage this
Reply:your blood vessels in the body pass more blood near the skin surface in hot weather this is done to cool you down
when its cold they push less through them to keep the body warm
Reply:sun will might do the job, getting darker certaily thickens the skin.

Belly button piercing on a very thin piece of skin.omg what should i do?!!?
should i go to my piercer and see what he can do.i only have had it for 4 months.i just dont want it to brweak my skin cause i think it is rejectin please help
Belly button piercing on a very thin piece of skin.omg what should i do?!!?
Go back to your piercer (or another piercer you trust if you prefer) and see if he thinks your piercing is correct for your body. Some people do have small amounts of skin to pierce and are fine. If you piercing appears to have changed positions from where it was when you got pierced, then yes you may have a problem.
Sometimes piercings move to find themselves a more comfortable place to rest. They go a certain distance, get comfy and never bother to move again. Other times a piercing can migrate due to improper jewlery fit, constant tugging from clothes or sleeping, or it can just have been in the wrong place to start with.
Your piercer will be able to take a look at your belly and see if he spots anything that could be causing migration and if there is anything obvious he can do about the situation. At the worst, youll have to take it out and have it repierced. On the bright side, scar tissue from a previous belly piercing can help keep the new one in place.
Reply:When i first got mine periced they did it with lil bit of skin like im scared its gunna rip out but its fine ive had it for 3 years now.....im like really skinny.....19yrs old and I weight 85lbs so i didnt have much skin to pierce...you should be fine....

I had the same condition and was tested for parasites and was found to have contracted RINGWORM you get it by being rundown or stressed.take antibiotics for cure.
Reply:See a doctor.
Reply:At the risk of sounding redundant, my advice is to see a doctor.
Reply:go see a dermatologist!
Reply:Every skin problem comes from your colon condition. So if you keep eating too much (even if you don't think so), your colon just can't dispose of everything and it causes to accumulate toxin in your body.
And your skin gets to be very sensitive.
Sugar is also not good for your skin and colon.
